I will be offering training in all three areas of the jewelry business. I Graduated in 1973 from Gem City College located in Quincy Ill. In the fields of Jewelry, Watchmaking, and Clock Repair. I also studied Jewelry Designing and the Art Of Gem Stones and Diamonds.
This video shows how I made a centering tool for finding the center of a broken pivot on clock gears. If you don’t have a good watchmakers lathe, or a tail stock for you lathe this is one tool that finds the center for drilling the center of a gear shaft.
This clock gear had a worn pivot and was not repairable so I cut the pivot off and then replaced it here’s one way to do it.
This Video shows the building of and HHO Torch which can be home made and used in the jewelry repair. In the video he talks about a torch I made for him to show what is need to solder and make repairs to jewelry.
